Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast

This is a great museum with a lot of interactive exhibits. We recommend spending some time here while your beach or splash gear is still in the car.

Once the kids are all sensory loaded, they can decompress in the water. The outdoor section of the museum overlooks the lagoon and splash pad so it’s all pretty much tied together.

Another perk to a day well spent with kids in Jensen Beach Florida at this park, is all of the grassy areas. You can easily post up a spot for a picnic, or snag one of the pavilions that aren’t being rented for parties. If you do want to book a party here, pavilions are $180 to rent.

Indian Riverside Park is also well-maintained and offers a community center and two sets of restrooms.

Don’t want to bring lunch? We recommend a kid-friendly restaurant just a few short miles away- The Catch Neighborhood Bar and Grill. They have a designated kids zone, offer kids toys with the menus, and the food Is great. Pictured Is just one area of the many games this restaurant has.

How to End a Day Well Spent in Jensen?

The first Sunday of each month, you can hang at the historical mansion for free.

“Music at the Mansion” is a free concert series held at the Mansion at Tuckahoe amphitheater in Indian Riverside Park, 1707 NE Indian River Drive.

It’s a Martin County Parks and Recreation gem, featuring live bands with waterfront views, food vendors, and kid-friendly activities—no coolers allowed, but admission’s free! The series typically runs from late fall to spring, dodging the summer heat and hurricane season.
