18 Fun Family Restaurants in Palm Beach County

We love finding kid-friendly or fun family restaurants in the Palm Beach area.

Since we have little ones that don’t always sit still when we dine out, I’m always in search of an eatery with a playground, restaurant with a pool, or diner with a play space.

Because of that, I have found some favorite places to eat with kids in Palm Beach County that I want to share with you!

Blue Point 

Blue Point is an amazing family-friendly restaurant with great food and casual dining atmosphere on the water and a heated pool in the center of the restaurant.

The Burger Shack

The Burger shack is in a great location, next to Dubois Park (a shallow beach park.) This eatery has a mini-golf area, playground, and ice-cream shop.

Twisted Tuna

The Twisted Tuna is a fun atmosphere with delicious food to eat outdoors under shaded trees and a view of the pool. The turf lawn if fun for kids with lawn games.

Beacon

coastal and upscale, this restaurant has beautiful views of the lighthouse and a lawn space, shared with Lucky Shuck. You will also enjoy a little beach to explore before or after your meal.

Lucky Shuck

The Beacon and Lucky Shuck are upscale restaurants that share a lawn space. This space is great for the kids to run around, and just steps down from the Beacon’s patio, is a little beach.

The Park

The Park in West Palm is located on a beautiful gold course. The cabana restaurant has great food and while covered, is open to the turf lawn where kids tend to feel the urge to run around a little. They also do movie nights in the lawn, and have fun event like the easter bunny or elf on the shelf.

Pig Beach

Pig Beach is a fun and casual but delicious bbq restaurant on Dixie Hwy. Kids love the fun, laid-back, picnic style dining.

ER Bradley’s

ER Bradley’s is very family-friendly in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach. This restaurant has fun drinks, an arcade, fish ponds, a lawn area with games and swings, and is right across from the water.

The Square

The square, sometimes referred to as CityPlace, is a family-friendly outdoor shopping and dining center with frequent events and happenings. It has lawn space and a splash pad, and many people walk, or use strollers bicycles to explore the fun area. A must-do is Sloan’s, a popular ice cream parlor.

Kid-friendly restaurants in Palm Beach Gardens

Downtown at the Gardens 

Going out to eat in this outdoor shopping mall is fun with kids because it’s lively and entertaining. Kids love the carousel and frozen yogurt shop. This area also has interactive fountains, a small mini golf attraction, DIY craft store for the artsy friends, and plenty of boutiques and restaurants. To name a couple, Grimaldi’s pizza is here, as well as the Cheesecake Factory.

Seeds café 

You’ll feel like you’re in a European cafe with tall pillars outside for shade, hanging plants throughout, and elegant touches of decor. The menu is exciting and unique, with hand-crafted items. This cafe is just steps away from a fun playground in Veterans Park that is well-shaded.

Mizner Park

an outdoor dining and shopping mall that has plenty to do. We like to eat at Max’s Grille before or after going bowling at Strike 10, catching a movie at the iPIC, or just walking down the beautifully landscaped plaza. They have tons of shops including Sloan’s ice cream parlor, SugarBoo & Co., (an adorable boutique) It’s Sugar (a speciality candy store) and Ceilito artisan pops (handmade popsicles.).

The plaza has a lot of lawn space for playing, and often has concerts and events.

Kid-friendly restaurants in Delray Beach

Deck 84 

Deck 84 is a waterfront restaurant with a fun atmosphere and a kids menu. It’s located on the “ave” where many shops and restaurants are.

The Girls

The Girls Strawberry Patch is a unique and adorable place to visit. The garden is lush and filled with beautiful florals and greens. They have farm animals, gem mining, a cute little train, a homemade ice cream parlor, and a NY-style pizzeria (open daily from 10:30-8:30)

Benny’s on the Beach 

Located on the ocean, this restaurant is steps away from the beach. There are two spots within steps from each other that you can dine at, one of them Is directly on the pier.

Willys Cafe 

This Boynton Cafe has sandwiches, smoothies, juices, coffee and a turf lawn with kids playhouses and things. It has some shaded seating outside and plants for sale.

Old Key Lime House

This popular restaurant has been a staple for locals and tourists. Its lime green building and sea-life decor makes it stand out, as well as good food and a fun, laidback atmosphere. It’s waterfront, with a pier for kids to spot fish.

Juan’s Marketplace 

Juan’s Marketplace is a part of the Palm Beach Polo Club and open to the public everyday. It is completely outside, serving delicious meals with shaded seating, a turf lawn, and a small play area to crawl in with a toddler slide.
