With energetic kids to entertain, I've spent many weekends hunting for activities that are fun, easy, and don't require a ton of planning. Mini golf is at the top of the list because it's quick, gets everyone involved, and gives us a little healthy competition.
But which spots are worth the drive in Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River Counties? I've played them all with my family, rating them on kid-friendliness, unique perks, and overall vibe. This isn't a generic list. It's my personal take on the best ones, answering, "Where's the top mini golf for families here?" Let's dive in.
What I Look For in a Kid-Friendly Course
As a mom, I prioritize spots that work for our kids who are super young. Easy holes prevent frustration. Shade or indoor options beat the heat. Extras like snacks or games extend the fun. I tested these with my kids, noting what clicked and what didn't.
My Top Mini Golf Picks on the Treasure Coast
I've rounded up the best spots after family outings. Each has unique features that stood out during our visits. Prices and hours are subject to change, so always check. No fluff here, just honest thoughts from our experiences.
PopStroke in Port St. Lucie
PopStroke in Port St. Lucie is currently the only mini golf in St. Lucie County, and fun fact: Tiger Woods designed it.
My kids loved the two courses: one simple for my little one, another with challenges for my older child. The scoring app made it feel like a game, tracking shots on our phones.
Why it stands out for families: The design is nice and the playground nearby lets kids burn extra energy. We spent two hours without complaints. It's pricier but worth it for the modern twist. There's a lounge area with turf and corn hole that offers an interim when not eating or playing.
Personal review: My 4.5-year-old scored his first hole-in-one! The ice-cream bar with a whole bunch of flavors was perfect for after our game and sealed the fun on our family outing.
Drawback: Weekends get crowded. Price: About $12 per kid, $15 per adult.
Hours: 10 AM to 11 PM on Mon-Wed and Thurs-Sat they close at midnight.
Lighthouse Cove (three locations)
Lighthouse Cove in Jupiter is a short drive from the Treasure Coast. My family had fun at the two 18-hole courses with waterfalls and caves. If you plan this around another activity in Jupiter, you can make the most of your trip there!
Why it stands out for families: Holes are varied but not too hard for beginners. It's compact, so we finished in under an hour. They all have 3 Scoops Ice Cream Bar.
Abacoa location: Both locations are only within miles of each other. This one is in a great location next to plenty of restaurants, and located near the Rodger Dean baseball stadium.
Jupiter location: The one on A1a has a playground and just up the road is Dubois Park, where there is a public playground and beach with shallow water, (check water quality first.)
There is another Lighthouse Cove mini golf ocation in Cocoa Beach.
Personal review: Love Lighthouse! It's well-kept and tailored to kids. It's hard to choose which location is better. If you want a beach day, choose the A1a location and hit mini golf after. If you want to stroll through the beautiful Abacoa downtown shops and restaurants or hit a baseball game, hit the Abacoa location.
Limitation: The Abacoa location has limited parking on busy days.
Price: Around $10 per kid, $12 per adult.
Safari Golf & Games in Vero Beach
Safari Golf & Games in Vero Beach feels like a mini safari. This one has two 18 hole courses to choose from, or do both! If this a solid drive for you, check out Vero Beach recommendations with kids to plan your day efficiently.
We've played both courses, mixing easy and moderate challenges.
Why it stands out for families: The arcade extends the fun, and the ice-cream is the best treat after everything. Shade from trees helps with the sun, and it's stroller-friendly.
Personal review: My kids raced through the jungle holes, spotting "hidden" animals. We stayed for games after, making it a full outing. It's affordable but can get buggy in evenings; bring spray.
Price: About $9 per kid, $11 per adult.
Hours: Fri-Sat: 10 am - 10pm; Sun-Thurs: 10am - 9pm
Sailfish Sands in Stuart
Sailfish Sands' is a unique golf expereince. While not a walk-through course, it involves 20 climate-controlled hitting bays where you swing away from the first or second floor.
Food and bevs make this a fun outing. You can compete with the kids, tackle virtual courses, track shots, and get real-time stats—super fun for all skill levels.
Why it stands out for families: It's smaller, so perfect for quick visits with young kids. They provide gear for everyone: kids, adults, even lefties.
Personal review: We went on a weekday, and it's unlimited bays for $20. It was a unique experience to break up the ordinary routine and we all had fun! The food was great!
Hours: Monday-Wed: 11 AM to 5 PM; but open until 9 pm on Thurs-Sun.

Elev8 Fun at Treasure Coast Square
Elev8 Fun at Treasure Coast Square in Jensen Beach has an interactive mini golf experience with glow-in-the-dark elements.
Why it stands out for families: The neon lights and tech effects excite kids without overwhelming them. It's part of a bigger arcade, so one ticket covers multiple activities.
Personal review: On a rainy afternoon, this saved our day. My kids were excited to glow under the lights. It's pricier, but the variety makes up for it because it's next to last tag, bowling, and Go Karts.
Limitation: Can be noisy with crowds
Price: A little steep. Check them out for exact deets.
Hours: 11 AM to 10 PM.
The Verdict
We're loving Lighthouse Cove in Abacoa. Although this location doesn't have the playground, we just love strolling through this area on foot and catching a baseball game for a full day's outing. The area has an escape room, lots of dining, coffee shops, treat shops, an outdoor amphitheater, and the baseball stadium. Overall, I think each location has something for kids to enjoy, and you can't go wrong with any of them.
